  January 2, 2015 - Medium to light red with brownish hue; very intense lightly caramelized nose; oaky, creamy, likeable caramel, "candy"; very nice

  December 20, 2011 - Beautiful light brick color. The nose is warm, intense and pervasive, with a lot of roasted almonds, black cherry and dark chocolate. There is quite a bit of alcohol upfront, reminding of an Amaretto. Full bodied with a smooth and creamy texture and the same layers of flavors on the palate. The chocolate lingers for minutes (retail $39.99)

  April 25, 2011 - Dark color nose of sugar and coffee and a very powerful and lasting palate of toffee, smoke and vanilla. Long finish. Drink or keep.
