December 25, 2013 - Rich tobacco-inflected berry fruit on the nose and palate. Did remind me of a right-bank Bordeaux as much as of a Sangiovese but still delicious, and the oak seems (judging from other notes) finally to have integrated.

July 28, 2011 - Dark fruit on the nose with wood and pine needle complexity. Balanced palate, intense, good acidity and ripe tannins. Touch of wood remains on the finish but I think it will integrate. Give it one more year.
