February 5, 2014 - Wonderful. Tangy, fruity, open, acidic, such a great food wine. Great with chicken in tomato & basil. Very classic chianti.

September 14, 2013 - Very good chianti. Soft, velvety, intense cherry, a little tar. Ready with little tannin or harshness yet it has some grip. Great on its own, although intense and very Italian.
With bolognese: great match. The acidity in the wine worked so well. Vibrant, tarry, fruity.
... 4 days later (transferred to half bottle and kept in fridge) and still quite fresh. Touch of oxidation, open, fruity, tarry still.

March 27, 2012 - Tart red fruit with chewey tanins and bit of grip on the finish. Basically very Chianti. Bold and shows some depth but, this may be better with a couple years to smooth out the tanins. Only drink this with food. Right now I'll pass on buying a 2nd btl.

August 16, 2011 - Excellant Chianti, had with ribeye steak and salad, good color. Bery and good flavor not too sharp easy drinking

June 28, 2011 - VEDI Wines Italian Producers (K&L Wines, Redwood City, California): Medium ruby color; vegetal, tart red fruit, tomato broth nose; tart red berry, roasted tomato palate; needs 2-plus years; medium-plus finish 86+ points
