October 28, 2009 - nose - cherry liqueur, fig, acetone, ?volatile acidity, with a whiff of coffee.
mouth - strong sour cherry, liqueur-like flavor, full midpalate and surprising back end acidity. well balanced with surprisingly robust sediment. Overall a very interesting bottle.
