  April 2, 2010 - So after bottle three, I get what mdefreitas is saying. However, I don't think it's the oak treatment after drinking the 07 and 08 gewurz's in parallel. The same notes are pronounced in the table wines of the same vintages. My personal opinion is that the blends have been changed through the addition of more gewurtz. The table wine now has a much more subdued landing from its lofty mid palette. I taste the petrol from the gewurtz. Not bad, but different. Still the same great QPR.

  March 20, 2010 - Was really impressed with this bottle. Great aromas/flavors of pineapple, ripe pear and apple, touch of oak creaminess. For the price, this is a great bottle.

  January 10, 2010 - Rib Roast and Napa Cabs (Our House, San Diego, CA): Tasty and easy as usual. As good as the previous vintages and still at a great price. Goes with everything - sort of a chameleon Chardonnay.
