September 6, 2015 - Earthy, dull fruit. Didn't really like it, but I don't go for earthy Pinots. Sorry I bought a half case of this vintage.

January 31, 2013 - Very light color and very clear. Rather unusual for a pinot profile. Raspberry taste with some earthiness to it. Rather dry and closed off. Even 90 minutes later, the mid palate was just starting to open up. Tannins are still firm and could use some time to mellow out.
Great bottle to take to a blind tasting and have people guess what it is. Drinks more like a cab. -

September 9, 2010 - Pop and pour at a tasting. Interesting nose of light notes of mole (cinnamon-pepper and milk chocolate, odd for a pinot), almond or marzipan, and mild vanilla spice. In the mouth tame, delicious, delicate fruit (plum, cherry detected) that expresses itself consistently from attack through mid-palate and into a finish that includes oak, cocoa dust, and fruit fading. Dryish. Body light to medium, acid medium minus, tannin medium. 14.5% abv.
