October 29, 2017 - From a goog looking magnum, this wine had a deep yellow/light gold center. The medium intensity nose was pretty subtle for the first couple hours of air. Afterward, it showed pears, apples, vanilla, citrus, and minerals.

In the mouth, this wine had a very ripe attack that quickly transitioned into a balance and moderate mid-palate and finish. After 2 hours of air, the wine developed minerals and acidity in the finish to made it attractive.

While this wine will last for 5+ more years, it is now fully mature, even in a magnum format. Drink up!

November 5, 2009 - This was simply a wonderful, wonderful white burg. Nose was reticent, otherwise the score would have been higher. But with some coaxing we found aromas of green apple, white flowers, and something along the lines of a kind of mineral quality. Still, the nose was reserved. The palate was just great. Apple, lots of a sense of rock or mineral, and something nut-like or bread-like as a kind of darker undertone of flavor. The acid frame was incredible... very, very fresh on the palate, with a great sense of lift and a terrific finish. This was truly outstanding. Now and, if the pox were not to show itself, for ten years.

October 13, 2006 - Classic white Burgundy nose of wax but not enough fruit. Could be closed, could be under-fruited. Good balance and pleasant, but not what I was hoping for.
