April 27, 2014 - Very good in many ways. Good fruit, finish. Lots of tar and berries. Wonderful surprise.

September 3, 2013 - Doesn't show much at all on the nose. This also has a very unusual flavor profile - which probably explains the numerous awful scores posted here. Full-bodied, bone dry and very tannic. This reminds me of Madiran (Tannat) or perhaps even a fairly decent modern-style Barolo. Just enough tart blackberry and dark currant fruit peeks out from behind the wall of tannins to make this enjoyable. Very dry and has a mile-wide mineral streak on the medium finish. Definitely quirky, but really not bad at all if you can just accept this wine for what it is.

March 2, 2013 - Rancid. One smell and one taste and then down the drain. The cork fell apart in my hand.

October 22, 2012 - Thin, weak, no mid-palate or finish. Cherry start, slight vegetal edge. Drinkable, just not very good...
