Community Tasting Notes 4

August 22, 2012 - Much better than 2 years ago. Only took about 1 hour to open up and then revealed lovely bright red fruit--predominantly strawberry and cherry, layered with earthy leather and notes of tobacco. Faint floral notes, perhaps lilac. Complex but still quite tannic. Will likely continue to benefit from age.

    January 29, 2011 - Tannic not great

February 28, 2010 - Young. Dark fruit, and earthy and floral notes. Initially tight but after 2 hours began to open up.

November 17, 2009 - Fruity smell. Deep color. Crisp flavor. Hints of black cherry.
