  December 15, 2018 - Medium translucent, garnet color. Nose is oaky with cherry, minty menthol and light chocolate. Low to moderate tannin and medium acidity. Easy drinking and pleasant with flavors reflecting the nose with minerals and just a little tar and alcohol on the finish. Very Good but not that memorable.

  May 5, 2017 - From Magnum. A better wine than I was expecting. Decanted for 1 hour. Plenty of red fruits with some sweet Oak and then some black cherry.

  January 31, 2009 - Unexpectedly found this wine (and a few other 1995-1997's) at a new wine store and thought I would give some a try. This was definitely one of the wines that has held up better. Modest nose and good color, very smooth tannins. Overall enjoyable with probably a 1-2 years of life left.

  December 26, 2007 - This is a very nice wine. Yes, I would rather have an Italian Super Tuscan, but at the price this does me just fine. Sangiovese up front provides lots of fruit, followed by a strong backbone of Cabernet. Would recommend drinking it now.

  September 8, 2007 - Nice scented fruit. Big on the palate with spices and notes of vanilla on the finish. Needs time in the glass to open up before drinking. Good structure.
