June 9, 2018 - Okay, when first opened it didn't have much going for it, but as it warms up, there's more there. However there's a big tannin structure that gets in the way and isn't balanced by the fruit and acid. And there's a hit of alcohol on the end. Not loving it.

December 31, 2017 - Has matured quite a bit from 2012 which was the last year I tried this. Textbook Nebbiolo - opens with earth, mushroom and minerals with bright acidity, high tannins and tart cherry on the palette. Nose is very similar to an aged Pinot. Tight on opening - needed about an hour of air before she opened up a bit. Suggest pairing with heartier red meat.

September 15, 2017 - Would definitely have lasted a few more years. Very tart, high acidity. Good wine!

March 26, 2017 - Drinks very well right now. Probably at its prime, I doubt further ageing will add much,
I'm glad I saved the last bottle a bit longer, has clearly matured from last time.

December 30, 2016 - PnP - a little tightly wound on initial pour so I let this sit in the glass for an hour before revisiting - improved with air. Dark fruits, spine of acidity with a lot of dusty tannins that linger on the tongue long after the wine has left your mouth. I think this has probably benefiting from the age and has added some complexity - not earth shattering but quite good.
