October 1, 2011 - Epic Mosel Valley Wine Trip; 10/1/2011-10/4/2011 (Mosel Valley, Germany): the nose on this showed some sulfur, which didn't dissipate too much with swirling and air. there's some other aromas hiding underneath, apricot and honey, but the sulfur dominates. the palate is delicious: gorgeous honey and white peach with a streak of minerals and great acid.
