October 24, 2016 - W veal scaloppinni. This was a lot of fun because i had no expectation. Worried about a 14 your old cali pinot. Welll this was perfect, great color, great nose and plenty of fruit left. A bit dry but otherwise excellent. Perfect combination with food. Yummy!

April 14, 2013 - Much younger looking. Dark block of flavor. Sharp and bright and somewhat awkward. Sometimes nice, sometimes strange, but mostly good. Jill likes it, but I find it a little strange. A bitter blocky note in the back to go with the spicy cherry, bumpy, block of forest spice.

January 23, 2011 - Fresher than I would have expected, with a nice complex nose for a Cali pinot. But a little hot (14% alcohol, feels like more) and showing a hint of bitterness on the finish. Nevertheless, nice to see Copain's second tier pinots holding up after almost a decade.

March 14, 2009 - Bit of a port-like oxidative note on the nose; slight bricking at the rim; surprisingly young on the palate but on the raisiny side for me.
