October 9, 2020 - It needs a bit of air to open up. The nose has some violet and dark berries, the palate shows more maturity, rust and earth, dark berry, decent acidity, decent finish. Best at the table.

August 17, 2018 - Brownish hue, very fine evolving nose finishing in grilled meat, the mouth is explosive with desolved tannins in equilibrium with the acidity, long aftertaste, very pleasant, ready, enjoy!

September 29, 2017 - well made and ripe, but slightly underwelming, far better with food, mostly secondary flavours with fine grained tannins, missing enough acidity to make it outstanding. Benefited from a couple of hours in the decanter, might try serving the next one slightly cooler

March 16, 2017 - At 67PM: interesting to compare this with the 99 Plessy we had two evenings earelier - this much smoother and more refined, some smokiness - but not as characterful as the Plessy.

March 27, 2015 - Lovely Côte-Rôtie rounder, somewhat pinoting and riper in its fruit than in some vintages but with the usual silky texture, fragrance, bright acidity, spice sprinkles and minerality. Very good.
