July 6, 2023 - Bromley Wine Circle goes Ooop North (London) - South Africa (Ariana 2, Kilburn, London): Like the 2007 that was drunk alongside this, find this has a few nudges to Rioja. Some more coconut oak on this on, a little chocolate alongside the somewhat darker, spicier fruit. Very nice drop.

May 30, 2023 - An auction purchase, and another 14% abv bruiser, although this carried it very lightly. Some menthol, some pencil lead - in spite of the booziness it was somewhat light on its feet. Punches above its weight I think.

December 20, 2021 - Really came through at the end. It shows that the RSA wines really do benefit from a BDX length of aging. See below for description and add a touch more complexity. Probably could run for another 5 plus years!
