December 17, 2023 - Library purchase from Torrin, crumbly cork that I just managed to save from disaster. Plummy savory nose, some tanginess due to the acidity, nectar-like texture on the palate, hints of Worcester sauce on the long finish. I drank this next to the 2020 which was also nice but very different as expected. I think my preferred age for this wine lies somewhere in between the two of these—maybe 7-8 years post vintage.

April 4, 2015 - consumed over 2 days. It is a must have with food type of wine. I had it with a burger the second night and it was perfectly balanced. Very good, but I think the later vintages are better.

February 11, 2015 - Decanted for 8 hours prior to tasting then consumed over 4 hours. Reading previous reviews, I received a very different experience. There were intriguing aromas upon decant and the palate impression was actually quite restrained. Rather than jammy and boisterous, there was a sense of fine breeding with perfect manners. It felt like this wine was carefully constructed, its natural elegance a birthright. Actually, I was hoping for a little more disclosure.

April 12, 2014 - Tasted the wine at Torrin's pick up party. I bought 6 bottles and I took this one to dinner later that day. The wine is drinking very nicely, dark and full body, smoooth. I'm going to lay 3 bottles for a few year. This wine can age.
