August 8, 2014 - Not sure the blend but I'd guess Sangiovese and Merlot. This is a really nice wine and I waited to open because at the tasting room years ago this was wrapped is vicious tannins. Dark plum color and lighter brick edges. Plum and cherry aromas, beautiful Sangiovese fruit profile with a bright pop mid palate. Leather and crushed herbs towards the ending. Structure is still there but I'd say this is in the middle of the drinking window with 3 more years left. Medium finish. Paired with chicken parmigiana.

May 28, 2013 - Simple, but nice everyday drinker. Paso Chianti...

March 24, 2013 - Light fruity nose and taste. Very light in fact for a Fratelli Perata wine. Low tannins make it a surprising. A little hot but paired well with cold tri-tip for an afternoon snack.

July 7, 2011 - Killer wine- a CA tuscan blend. Wow- starts off with the sangio- mint, eucalyptus, plum and cherry fruits (reds) with some acid and slight tannins. After two+ hours of air then the other grapes kick in... merlot? A little dark fruits come forward with some spice. Very happy with this wine... great wine food the 1st 2 hour and then great by itself 2+ hours later.
