This is a very versatil wine, I now wish I had purchased more for my cellar. Berries, spice, round and smooth. We will defiantly be revisiting fratelli on our next Paso trip!

  April 21, 2012 - Wasn't sure if this 2007 would be ready - but it absolutely WAS! Smooth and fruity, but not overbearing. Light acids and tannins with bold colors. We brought it to a dinner party where of all things we had Indian foods with mellow curry, cumin, and garlic flavors (not spicy). And this wine paired wonderfully! It was also great with the berry and custard dessert. Who would have thought this wine would be so versatile! Excellent wine!

  February 13, 2012 - It was a great experience to try this wine over the course of almost two years. To taste how it evolved over time...difficult to put into words. My apologies - we popped, poured, clinked our glasses and tasted. I know it was a deep, opaque garnet color, but I honestly don't recall the nose. I simply remember the first sip, looking at my husband, and the both of us deciding to rejoin their wine club. It's more than just the wine. The people are very cool, the price point is great, and the wine just keeps getting better with age.
