November 9, 2009 - This is a blend of Malvasia, Chardonnay and the indigenous to Crete, Muskat of Spina Variety. It comes from a winery that has made leaps forward regarding the quality of its wines, over the last 2 years or so, after hiring the local star oenologist Dimitris Gouravas.
Pale yellow with some greenish hues. More floral than the 2007, with lemon-tree blossom, white rose and some fruity notes of citrus fruits (lime) and white peach. Mid-bodied, with nice fruit and crispy, mouthwatering acidity. Fairly long, floral finish. To drink now.
