August 30, 2014 - Lunch at Wine-Ark Daves (Banksia, Sydney): Medium plus intensity ripe cherry and spiced red berries especially ripe red currant and clove, cream vanilla, toast and some stalkiness and alcohol heat. In the mouth the wine has slightly sour flavours of spiced berry and cherry, very fine silky tannin, a little short with some tightness and bitterness on the finish.
