  March 28, 2024 - WCC Syrah from around the world tasting (Clifton Park, NY): Wasn't much of a fan of this. The aromatics are quite unpleasant – strong oaky and slightly reductive, burnt rubber-like notes dominate dark fruit beneath. But the palate is better, showing cleaner black fruit and some coffee notes, though it still feels rather extracted and alcoholic.

  April 16, 2011 - This was a strange bottle. It had a strange smell. The aroma was not good at all. But strangely it had a decent flavor. Not at all what I expected after smelling it. It is a hard bottle to rate. On smell alone would say flawed bottle. but flavor wasn't actually that bad, maybe an 84 or 85.

  October 15, 2010 - Decent everyday Shiraz. Lots of dark fruit on the nose. jammy and medium body in the mouth. got a little rust or metallic components.
