  October 20, 2021 - Decent red fruit, still quite ripe, a slightly dusty cola top note curiously intermingled with redcurrant, and some fine tannin and acidity to provide a structural frame for the mellow fruit. Nothing to write home about, but a decent drink. ***

  April 6, 2016 - Fruit, earth, a little Burgundian. Not as vibrant as I remember at the winery, but still a nice wine. We had this with chicken and butternut squash ravioli and it was a tasty pairing - plus some more with roast chicken. We paid $15 / bottle on close-out and it was ok for that. I see the 1.5 L bottles for $160 at the winery ($80 / bottle) and I would not be a buyer at that price.
