April 30, 2016 - The nose is not that impressive as the Age 1928 butin the palate elegant, fine and silky tannins, very rounded, still nice drinkable

October 7, 2014 - Aged Rioja's and a Ribera (NYC): very nice showing. Still has plenty of life, but would say this on the downward slope. Tasting stronger elements of sherry than other notes, but still very enjoyable.

January 27, 2013 - Sweet fruits with dainty and cutesy sweet aged Barolo like fruits. Aromatics stil in tact. Considering its age this is superb. Almost Madeirised as aged port like

January 25, 2013 - at B'day M. Initially somewhat maderized - but came round nicely even though it remained a bit port like. Still good acidity structure in the back.

June 9, 2012 - great, a bit more of a port nose than last bottle, could be mature Amarone.
