This is showing beautifully right now -- it's probably on the precipice of descending from its apogee. Wonderful tertiary aromas --- generally dark-fruited. Tannins fully resolved. Beautiful, moreish aged Cabernet from Napa. Started fading fast approx. 2 hours after uncorking. I was incredibly lucky to have sourced two bottles of this for $65/ea (in Hawaii of all places) *and* have each of them show well. Drink Now if you're still holding. Gut impression score: 92 - 94.

March 23, 2015 - Dinner with friends at Tsunami (Memphis, TN).
The Fisher was poured along with 1999 Chateau La Mission Haut Brion, 2003 Clos des Papes CNDP and 2005 F. Magnien Grand Echezeaux.
The Fisher was really wonderful. Light aromatics. Layers of red fruit (currant and cherry), a powerful but smooth mid-palate and long lovely finish. A beautifully elegant wine.
It went well with the cornmeal-crusted halibut.
In the race for red WOTN, the Fisher just nosed out the La Mission (which was surprisingly similar in taste), and clearly ahead of the CNDP and the Burgundy.
Took the bottle (about 1/3 left) home and put it in the frig. Drank it on 3-25-15. It was still wonderful.

December 31, 2012 - Best of the 3-vintage vertical (92-94). Chunky sediment, brilliant red-purple hue, exotic heady aromas with deep dark berry fruit on the palate. Wonderful wine.

January 21, 2009 - Chewy and chunky and showing some tannin still. Cigar box and pencil shavings really nice.
