March 26, 2021 - Aerated and decanted....damn, seems it was really good at one point but past its prime and on the way down. Color was light magenta with brownish-orange around the rim, showing its age. Slightly muted flavors of raisin, plum, dried cherries, then a hint of olive, dry and fairly strong acidity, medium-long finish. I bet it was really good at peak.

April 29, 2019 - Nice full bodied Amorone. Notes or currant and blackberry. Enjoyed with marinated steak, which was a good match.

December 20, 2017 - I was disappointed. It was a nice wine but it was on its down side. There were notes of past attributes and it still drank nicely but there was also a tired and undesirable taste of oxidation. It still had lots of fruit: plum, raisin, dark fruits and the finish showed an elegant smoothness
