September 9, 2014 - Mature "Iconic Burgundy" dinner and tasting in Christie's board room, London. Limited note taking.
Loses out to the '64 at the dinner (noted) as, in spite of remarkably clean fruit led (wild strawberry) character, by comparison this (still excellent) wine was relatively lean at its core and lacked the '64's breadth of flavours to give this wine real complexity.
For drinking up I suspect.
