September 3, 2023 - Clear ruby magenta in color. Beautiful nose takes a while to unfurl and blow off some bottle funk and shows tart morello cherries, mint, dried florals, baking spice and earth. Medium bodied palate shows more sour than sweet red cherries/cranberries, earthy tones, bright acids, lingering florals/spice on the finish.

August 27, 2023 - Way past it's peak. Didn't even finish the bottle.

  • Cote d'Or Likes this wine:

    December 1, 2021 - Tasted over 2 hrs
    -med dark red mild bricking
-full rich earthy cassis boysenberry sweet sousbois
-med acidity, med weight fading ripe dark fruit on a focused mineral skeleton, fine med- tannins, good length
-exquisite balance, another '05 really starting to hit its stride

September 11, 2021 - Ruby red in color. Airy nose of bright tart red berries, forest floor, dried florals and hint of five spice. Light to medium bodied palate shows spicy and sweet light red cherries, cranberries, good acidity, no tannins and a mix of dried florals and forest-floor on the finish.
