September 15, 2013 - Earthy, fruit has declined. Still some soft tannins. All in all quit good at 12 years old.

July 16, 2012 - Still drinking well with rounded out black fruit and soft cherry flavors. Mellow tannins. Very smooth on the palate. Probably will start to decline soon.

March 21, 2011 - Similar notes as last bottle. Nice, sale priced wine from the state monopoly store.

March 16, 2011 - Aromas of cherry, sawdust, and faint earthiness. Medium body with dark berry flavors and minerality. Smooth finish with a good dose of acidity. Would make a good food wine.

February 15, 2011 - Dark, almost black in color. Nose of cherries and oak. Sweet red cherries on the palate with some chewy, smoky oak. More time won't improve - suggest drinking up. More than quaffable at the state monopoly store sale price of $16. Would not want to be in at original retail.
