July 13, 2012 - Very good. Besides Cabs, petite sirah may be my next favorite. Very smooth with vanilla/buttery taste

June 22, 2010 - Enjoyable wine. Very deep purple color in the glass. Berries and herb on the nose. Big fruit forward style with peppery flavors mid-palate and into the finish. Great with food, especially barbecue meats. Tannins are big but not overwhelming. For me, very drinkable now. Will check again in another year or so and see where it develops.

November 23, 2009 - I love Petite Sirah. This is a nice wine with flavors of blackberry, vanilla and hints of black pepper. Well-integrated tannins with a smooth, balanced finish. This is what California should be - juicy, yet balanced. Nice structure and length.
