October 23, 2021 - Dark purple hue. Nose is funky-- port, earthy funk, raisins-- frankly smelled off. Was hoping things would improve but it didn't. Taste was slightly better-- spice, pepper, dark fruits. Two bottles I had were disappointments. Well past the drinking window (2016)-- perhaps this had something to do with it.

February 19, 2021 - This bottle was well beyond its years. Tasted/smelled like port. Fell apart right from the start. I've got another-- hoping the result is a little different although I'm not overly optimistic.

November 24, 2014 - Decanted 90 minutes and drank over 2 days. On the 2nd day this gained so much complexity and depth. Rich, yet refined, this was the perfect pairing with braised short beef ribs. Has the stuffing to go another 4-5 years.
