September 2, 2011 - It's actually the 2002. Double decanted at 4pm (drank at 8pm). Developed colour as expected. Honey, creamy buttery oak and a slight nutty note as well. Just what aged Chardonnay should be. So balanced with everything where it should be and nothing really dominating at all. A real competitor for LEAS. Yum.

August 26, 2007 - Blind Chardonnay Tasting (Sydney, Australia): Nutty, grapefruit and a deft touch of oak to the nose. Superior balance and depth on the palate. Finishes long and satisfying. Surprisingly elegant for a Pierro, but this seems to be the new style for the winery based on the last few vintages. My favourite wine of the tasting.
