July 5, 2023 - L.082/2021. From Holly. Dry as a bone. Nice bubbles. Watermelon, slightly under-ripe strawberries, hint of raspberry. Great geek-out.

January 20, 2020 - Very Aromatic: strawberry candy, raspberry, bitter herbs. Dry with funky balsamic flavors upfront, fresh red berry coming up in the mid and finishing with fresh squeezed lemon.

July 2, 2019 - This is a great food wine. Very dry with dark fruit and herbal notes. Good pair to a juicy burger.

June 23, 2018 - Popped and poured. Aroma of fresh raspberries. Tart cranberry raspberry flavors up front, a kick of sweetness mid palate, sour cherry finish. Nuanced flavors, fruity, some complexity, good tension between sweet and sour.

Those who insist that their Lambrusco be bone dry should look elsewhere, everyone else should enjoy. Excellent value.

March 20, 2018 - Italian Wine Scholar Class at the Texas Wine School. This light frizzante rose' is a blend of 85% Lambrusco Salamino and 15% Lambrusco Sorbara. Very pretty bright salmon color, with tart red cherries and minty herbs on the nose. The palate is dry, with medium acidity and medium (-) alcohol (11%) and tannins. The palate is consistent with the nose but also showing some dried red fruit and earth. There's a nice, palate-cleansing, bubbly mineral water bitterness on the finish. This is a very versatile cocktail and food wine that is intended to be consumed upon release. A very fun and quality product.
