  October 30, 2020 - second bottle out of six. This is far better than my last one and seduces with both nose and palate. Some red ripe fruit still there, some round tannins, round, juicy and pleasant. Rubin red with a brown edge in the baloon, red fruit, underbrush, some pencil. Medium-to-long aftertaste. One notch lower than 2007 but great, nonetheless. Another couple of years in its prime time

  March 13, 2013 - Red garnet color , peperoni , dark fruit , black pepper , cigar box, earth , on the palate after two hours became round , the acidity is little predominant , and to reach a better score I find it lacks on the finish , too short for this kind of wine.

  June 9, 2011 - Rather savoury typically Tuscan nose with a good lift from the Sangiovese. Black cherry, spice, cassis and a touch if tobacco - very perfumed. Medium weight palate with firm tannins, brisk acidity and a juicy long finish. Very good indeed.
