December 4, 2011 - Bought this wine from Mr Patti in person when touring Argentina ~ 4 years ago. Its held up very well, time to drink any remaining. A charming man, and clearly a talented, old world wine maker. If Napa still made cab like this, I'd buy Cab every week.
Color is still deep purple and not yet started to brown.
Nose is gorgeous, slightly dusty, hint of leather, red and black fruit.
Finish is long and silky. A treat indeed.

October 14, 2011 - Has lost some of it's huge nose and body. The huge mocha complexion is almost gone, leaving a smooth refined currant and blackberry core. Still excellent balance, but probably need to drink my last bottle within a year.

March 21, 2011 - Excellent. Peak year in 2011 compared to prior bottles. Lovely chocolate, cassis, oak complexion with sublime balance and a long smooth finish.

November 27, 2010 - On the nose, aromas of rich earth, blueberry jam, plum, and an underground mustiness. An abundance of jammy fruit (blueberry), dry wood, and a hint of maple syrup. Lively acidity, and soft, subtle tannins. Medium to full bodied. A touch of spice on the finish, along with the fruit that carries through from the palate.
