October 27, 2020 - Last Tuesday Supper Club (One Penny Red, Summer Hill): Earth, leather, black cherry over currant, plum, a little sourly wet note, Autumn leaves but also a little backed fruit note, slight oxidation, plenty of oak spice, vanilla, caramel, alcohol warmth. On the palate it's a little more sour than the nose implied but with an almost cork taint note, juicy, fleshy, cherry, talc textured tannins are nearing resolution. Hmm. Nose more fun than the palate.
