  January 13, 2014 - Caramel and camphor on the nose. On the palate, raisins, black cherry, and a bit of white and black pepper, with faint tannins and decent acidity. This is good enough to scratch the Amarone itch, and the price is reasonable.

  October 8, 2013 - Excellent, with nice red fruit and a long spicy finish. Not much tannin, and overall a somewhat lighter style of Amarone. Better with lighter dishes, I'd say...

  November 17, 2012 - Lovely wine. Red fruit with spice and a hint of tree sap or forest aroma. Very fruity and fresh on the nose. Heavy palate and everything you would expect of an Amarone. Red fruit, raisin, spices. Slight acidity towards the finish gave it balance. It will drink well for a few more years. Will seek more bittles but want to try the Riserva first.
