December 31, 2010 - This wine was moderate intensity with developing aromas of cherry vanilla, plums and licorice. The palate was earthy but soft and fruity somewhat like cherry cough syrup but in a good way, eucaliptis, herbals and spicy finish.

November 29, 2010 - Big nose! I get a little latex and grape jam. Taste: Red fruit with a sour cranberry aftertaste. Some blackberry as well. Its a little hot and one dimensional. It's REALLY sour

Wonderful wine. plenty of fruit for a Barbera.
Stood up very well to a variety of dishes from agniolotti, to lamb, to sirloin.
