March 21, 2021 - Continues to maintain momentum. My final bottle that I feared might be coming to the end of its drinking window but how wrong I was!
On opening there was a corky/stalky note that I feared might be TCA. However, with a bit of time this faded and in day two was non existent.
Deep red fruit, smoked bacon notes, still plenty of depth. Sadly no more left for me but it’ll be good another 3-5yrs at least -

February 1, 2020 - still singing. Still plenty of depth, Smokey bacon, baked strawberry and black cherry fruit and earthiness. I opened this as I thought it might be coming to the end of its prime but feels like there’s still a good bit of life left in it
Depth improved on day 2 so just goes to show that this still has a future to it -

January 25, 2019 - Belies it’s 12 years. Deep and meaty with notes of bacon fat and even a bit of beef stock? Nice secondary development, showing a bit of barnyard alongside red berry fruit.
Medium tannin that give a bit of grip and fresh acidity.
Still time in this but would imagine at peak performance right now -

December 27, 2017 - Drinking well. Soft tannins, medium-light acidity. Nose and palate show Red fruit and forest floor.
Probably at peak and will remain so for a year or two -

March 14, 2016 - Still doing very well. Expressive fruit flavour and moderate tannin and acidity gives it a suprising youthfulness.
