February 5, 2022 - Lighter on the palate than expected. Did gain weight over time. Tannins resolved and acid provides nice lift. Would never guess was over 13 yrs old. Primary red fruit, mint and some herbs. Finish lengthens as wine warmed up. Delicious. Had with many other bottles and this was the best. Glassel stem.

January 6, 2022 - Comes on after about 30 minutes open with black cherry, herbs de provence (thyme most particularly), damp earth. Mid-weight flavors, not exactly rustic but not particularly smooth, alcohol is well integrated and mouthfeel is a bit square and straightforward with a clean finish. Fully mature and nice today, good value and a job well done to Howard and Jessica!

August 3, 2013 - Lovely, rich, aromatic with full bodied fruit, this was richer than I recalled more in a California style but great balance and smooth finish. sorry this was my last one

April 17, 2013 - Popped and poured and consumed over 2 hours. Very deep garnet-red/purple, especially deep for a 2008. Very oaky nose with loads of allspice, plums, green tea, mint, and cherries as well. Lush, again particularly interesting for a 2008, on the palate but nicely balanced. Very open and forward for this vintage. This was quite nice but too modern in style for my taste, especially when compared to other wines from et Fille in this vintage. It lacked the complexity and depth that mark 2008 in Oregon. Drank from the winelist at The Joel Palmer House in Dayton, Oregon.

December 15, 2012 - Good fruit flavors, but a little one note. Enjoyable but won't blow you away
