October 28, 2015 - Popped and poured - no need to decant any longer. ready to go. consistent with earlier tasting notes - big wine that drinks more like a cab sauvignon and that has no heat despite its very high alcohol content. Complex and layered and lots of terroir.

February 16, 2015 - Drinking like a Cab Sauv - intense nose and on the palate. Dark fruit, evolving into toasty spices with perfect tannins at the end. In a wonderful place now and ready to drink without the need to decant. This is a 15.7% wine, but you would never guess it. No heat and well mannered tannins. First 100% Petit Sirah for me and a gem.
