June 17, 2017 - Very good Rioja at a bargain price. Just now showing some maturity but has lively ripe fruit, good balance, soft tannins and good structure.

black cherry, smoke, espresso, plum, sweet licorice and sweet ripe tannins, a moderate coconut flavour from the american oak, spices..
everything ripe and tasty, even lucious/sweet, very juicy but without being too sour..
some dill, tar, licorice again, brambles, white pepper and truffles, earth and smelly oak - yes, unmistakeable rioja characteristics although you find mostly garnacha in that blend.
