April 13, 2005 - Brilliant medium ruby color. Nose was identifiably Pinot Noir, albeit rather shy in the fruit department. Some earth and some sweaty socks in the background (slightly bretty). On the palate, light to medium bodied, but rather structured at the moment. FInish is quite persistent and the tannins avoid dryness. This certainly needs more time - the only reservation is that it perhaps showed not enopugh fruit for medium-term development. Nice, but no bargain at the official price. Drink 2007-2012
