March 12, 2016 - From hail vintage in chambolle , with very low yields, very awkward wines when young, dry tannic and unyielding.
Now in big Zalto's, ethereal nose with tea, soy , sous bois, on a currant berry fruit background
Light and dancing on palate, no discernable tannins, fully resolved, nice spices and tobacco notes. Very long and lingering with spices
Christophe is a magical winemaker, and so modest, down to earth.
Improving with air and a spectacular empty glass, loads of spices and mentholated
    Great bottle! Amazing wine

April 16, 2010 - Very much an old burg with stewed fruit tea and tea leaves . Almost tired, this did struggle to keep up. There are lighter touches of half dried up florals, dust and holllowed out red fruits. Losing colour and noticeably displaying weaker vintage characteristics as most called it a beaune at best.Slight heat spiking at he finish. Drink up soon!

April 15, 2010 - Surprise 30th Birthday Party (Amber Park, Singapore): This has held up really well for a village from an unheralded year. I so enjoyed the aged Burg characteristics. On the nose, very complex, with nice sappy sweetness and still plenty of dark cherries, red fruits and preserved red dates, some perfumy Chambolle flowers, an earthy undertone and some fruit tea, and orange peel scents, all seasoned with plenty of sweet woody notes and dashes of spice. Palate was clean and fresh. There was some alcohol heat on the attack, but past that, there were dried cherries, red fruits, more preserved red dates, some really Nuits St Georges like iron mineral, but a soft fleshiness that was reminiscent of a Cote de Beaune. The flowery undercurrant though was distinctly Chambolle. Finish was still quite alive, with spicy notes, more red dates and some stewed fruit tea. Probably nearing the very end of its life, but I really enjoyed this as it was.
