December 18, 2019 - No detailed notes made; very pleasantly surprised at how well this wine has aged, still deep purple in color, opened and took a quick taste, served 90 minutes later, wine definitely improved and evolved in the glass, smooth and pleasant with a moderate finish. Wine is in a nice window.

November 22, 2019 - Not many raves here. But what are you looking for in a wine like this? I think it’s in a perfect spot right now. Fragrant, generous nose with a hearty seamless texture. Acidity may be a tad high, but it underscores the richness and encourages multiple glasses. If you have some enjoy it right now. One of the better efforts from this high end St. Clement release. Expressive and completely satisfying.

November 10, 2018 - This wine is what it is. Kind of a zinfandel in cabernet's clothing. That said, this was a great wine for us in our cold environment with some steaks, baked sweet potato fries and some grilled asparagus. Not sure how much I would want to drink it without a hearty meal, but overall, a very enjoyable bottle.

August 27, 2018 - Very young and vibrant still upon opening. and the fruit profile didn't back down at all over 2 days. A little bit of tertiary flavor as well, but surprisingly young. Tannins have softened and the wine's acidity is good so all seems in balance. Wish I had a few more.
