  December 31, 2009 - New Year's Eve 2009-2010 (Our House (2033 Brandywine St., Philadelphia)): A disappointment. Odd note of anise on the nose and a flatter palate. Consensus was that it was not flawed, but there was something a bit off with this. Moderate weight on the palate and good enough finish.

  December 31, 2009 - New Years Eve (Collingswood and Philadelphia): There was something not quite right about this. It had a very dark character about it that made me think the pinot fruit in it had gone bad -- now i look and it doesn't have any pinot fruit. There was no clear flaw, it just did not have a right flavor profile for the wine. The mousse was ok, and there was an odd bitterness on the finish.
