  February 10, 2013 - Dark ruby color with nose of freshly crushed dark fruit. Ripe fruit, oak, and mint flavors beautifully integrated with soft, rich tannins. Full-bodied, but not sweet. Velvety mouthfeel, smooth finish.

  reached when WS rated it only 88 points. Turned out it is still outstanding. Jammy and bursting with fruit but it is well blended and smooth. Best of both old and new world styles. Quite good!

  April 7, 2012 - This is about as good as it gets. A big, bold, fruit forward Napa blend. But it has that Bordeaux nose and complexity. Well-integrated, chewy tannins. Everything here is balanced perfectly and the finish goes on and on. It's drinking GREAT right now, but has a few years left for sure.
