July 14, 2022 - Walla Walla Syrah Festival "Vintage Pour" (Cavu Cellars, Walla Walla): Dust, earth, cherry and minerals. A bit tired overall.

November 15, 2014 - Out of a magnum we picked up at the winery while we were out tasting. One of the things I love about Tamarack is their wall of large format bottles, mostly containing aged wines, available for purchase at reasonable prices. They usually impress, and this one was not an exception. It featured a nice body, tons of black fruit flavor, and a bit of oak and earth to top it off.
