July 18, 2007 - Nice, big wine but it took about 6 hours for me to be convinced that it wasn't Pinotage. That South African terroir is so dominant that I really thought this was mislabeled! After the lengthy decant, I'll be darn, it's Cabernet! Lots of dirt and smooth fruit. Medium body, tannins. Low-acidity, short-medium finish. Quite respectable and would make a better than decent house wine for restaurants.
