    January 8, 2015 - The last of three bottles purchased in 1999, when this Armagnac was bottled. It's going for $900 a bottle now, but I paid $160 on release so I wish I had bought a case.

    Dark golden color. The nose is pure toffee. The palate is smooth heat, with leather and caramel notes. Really a magical drink.
