June 18, 2022 - Offley and Ferreira Pairings (Sammamish, Washington): Bottled in 2017. Amber in color. Transparent. Light nose of red fruit. Rich flavor profile with waves of complex flavors and bright acidity all the way through the very long finish.

March 10, 2020 - Angelica wine club - Portugal (Strand Cellars, Croydon): Alcohol warmth, oxidised notes, rancio, a touch of cork taint, slight leather, figs, plenty of spice, walnuts, slightly spiritous; the brandy is a bit pokey. Off dry tending to sweetly cloying, figs, toffee, apple, the alcohol is a bit too pointy for me. This is not to my liking.

January 13, 2019 - This tawny is delicious. Colour still quite ruby with few brick tints. The nose was complex and fragrant with a strong core. The palate was more robust that many tawnies but nevertheless complex, velvety and elegant with good length. Works well with both Stilton and chocolate based dessert. Very good.

December 19, 2018 - Bottled 2017, bottle is open for 24 hours, cherry red colour, smells of raisins, almonds and a little bit of smoke, not that sweet, light body, in the mouth raisins and smoke, smooth in the mouth, not hot/spirity, in the aftertaste raisins and smoke, good length (30 sec), good 10 Year Tawny, but there are better on the market
